| Bioactivity | 2,6-Diisopropylaniline is a biochemical reagent that can be used as a biological material or organic compound for life science related research. Related Catalog Research Areas >> Others Signaling Pathways >> Others >> Others In Vitro 2,6-Diisopropylaniline is used as an intermediate in the production of carbodiimide stabilizers, synthetic resins, antioxidants and pharmaceutical active ingredients. It was also used to prepare multi-thematic Schiff base ligand precursors and 4,5-b is(2,6-diisopropylanilino)-2,7-di-tert-butyl-9,9-dimethylthioxanthene. Condensation with triacetylmethane produces -[1-(2,6-diisopropylphenylamino)ethylene]pentane-2,4-dione. Additionally, it is used in the preparation of N-heterocyclic carbene complexes for α-arylation of acyclic ketones, amination of halogenated aromatics, and aqueous Suzuki couplings. In addition to this, it is also used in the preparation of naphthalenedimide-based organocatalysts.
